Effective date: October 2026
Gilles Nunjeh (“I,” “me,” “my”) runs nunjehgilles.com — a personal website for The Builder’s Inquiry, with essays, articles, and podcast episodes. This policy explains, in plain language, what information is collected when you visit and what I do with it. It is a summary of my practices, not legal advice — for questions, contact hello@nunjehgilles.com.
What is collected
- If you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address (and name, if you give one). Subscriptions run through Substack — you sign up on Substack, and Substack handles your subscription under its own privacy policy as well.
- If you contact me through the site: your name, email address, and the message you send.
- Automatic data: when you visit, standard web data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent — collected through cookies and Google Analytics so I can understand readership and improve the site.
How it is used
- To send the essays, research notes, and podcast updates you subscribed to. You can unsubscribe anytime.
- To respond to messages you send me.
- To understand which content resonates, so I can make more of it.
Who it is shared with
I do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the tools needed to run the site:
- Newsletter and publishing: Substack (manages subscriptions and sends the emails).
- Analytics: Google Analytics (measures site usage).
These providers only receive the data they need to do their job.
Cookies
The site uses cookies for basic function and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as well without them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, or delete the personal information held about you. To make a request, contact hello@nunjehgilles.com.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
